You can get a payday loan (essentially they pay you now, you pay it back when you get paid) but the interest and expenses are really high – this is a last resort. I would tough it out if at all possible even if it means you will have some late fees this one time, to me a payday loan is for when you can't afford to buy food and its literally that or starvation (and even then I'd think twice).

You could also try a pawn shop if you have something of value – but they have the same problems. Maybe you could just borrow money from a relative or friend for a few days – maybe even ask your job for an advance on your pay, they may do it though if you just started the job this is a longshot.

A cash advance or payday loan may be possible, but keep in mind that the charges, interest, are really high. Their only for emergencies.

Maybe you could talk with your family to help you, or you could talk with the people to whom you owe money and see if they could cut you some slack.

My husband had a check stolen from his check book and all of the sudden their was a cash advance that came in and then it was gone again. In this process they took a payment and he closed the checking account. We have switched banks but the problem who ever stole this check knew all of his information and now we are recieveing harrassing e-mails from them. We have already explained to them that it was a case of stolen identity and that we were not going to pay for something that we did not do. MTE Financial told us that it was placed in our checkin account and they would find our new one and debit it from there. Is there any thing we can do about this??

Not sure I completely understand. I believe you are sayings someone took a check and went and took an advance out against this check at one of those check cashing places?
If this is the case, go there and ask them to see the video of the person who took that loan out. This should prove you are not them.
They can NOT go and withdraw monies from your new account, the check they have is based off your old one. They can not submit the old check to another one. They are simply trying to scare you. You need to contact the local law enforcment agency and report this to them. Save all these emails you are receiving, tell them you are filing a police report.
These places have video cameras, contact police let them to the investigation.
Though this is scary, and stressful. It will all work out.
    Good Luck

How do you get out of the cash advance trap for good?
I always owe them my whole check each payday.
I can't pay it off without reborrowing for bills and stuff i need….
They won't let me pay some on it….
If you don't pay at all…they deduct it from your checking account…..
And you never know if they are even gonna let you borrow the next time.
They're fees are way past outrageous but it's the only way to get a loan for people like me.
And someone telling me that i shouldn't have gotten myself into this predicament in the first place is not an answer! *_*
(something tells me I'm about to get a bunch of rude answers ~_~)
Also, If I stop payment o a check the bank will charge me a big fee plus the lenders will keep depositing the check untill it's finally paid….which causes another returned check fee each time. ~_~

  2. Dr. Deth says:

"people like you" should learn to live within your measns, then you wouldn't need loans. Get a second job

  3. NY PTK says:

Note rude….You are screwed…. I would change banks…force them to take what you have…by working it out with them, you will be better off, but never have to go through it again.

  4. DFALLLENANGEL says:

It will be hard but just pay them and don't borrow anything else from them. bill collectors will make arrangements with you and if you keep paying the way you agree with them eventually you will catch up. Also look at your life and see if there is anything you can cut out like cigarettes, beer, candy, movies, magazines, anything extra. sacrifice a little now and be free later. Good luck

    Get a 2nd job.

Go to a financial counseling service and see if they can help you set up a budget, lower you payments and learn to live within your means.

Borrow the money you owe them in full from your parents or family, Pay them off and then pay back your family.

Their fees are outrageous, but you did agree to them when you took the money the first time.

What I have figured out with research is that if you cannot afford to pay them back, then don't. Why keep paying them an outrages amount of interest each week. You can stop payment on that check. You can then save the interest money you are paying them, and you will be able to pay them back within a few months. These lenders think they can scare you with into paying it back because you wrote a check, but that is just not true. The law forbids payday loan lenders from initiating or threatening a criminal prosecution against you or from collecting the treble damages that might otherwise be payable pursuant to the Civil Code for a dishonored check. They do reserve the right to collect delinquent loans using all legal remedies available including legal debt collection and civil court action. This is the most legal action they can take against you, it will take them months to take you to civil court, and another month or two to garnish your wages, if ever.

  8. JQT says:

Unless you come up with extra money to catch up the hole will only get bigger.

As someone already suggested, find another job, a second job or get a loan with lower or no interest from a friend or family. You have to pay these people back so that you don't continue to pay the high interest.

Then make a budget and stick with it. You can't spend more than you make PERIOD! Distinguish what are necessities and what is wants. If you are serious about making changes, contact National Foundation for Credit Counseling

    Best wishes.

If the first one has decided that it is not happy with the transaction, maybe $300 was too high or it was doing a standard security check then the others will have picked this up and refused the other requests. It happened to me, in the end when i rang the company they said they knew about it and it was to force me to ring so they could do a spot security check, they asked me loads of questions and then released the cards, no problem. The worse case scenario, well call them up an check, that should always be the first thing to do, the number should be on the back of the cards.
